The Skullerz 8963-MIPS Type 2 Full Brim Safety Helmet is a Class E Safety Helmet with integrated Mips technology designed to increase worker head protection by helping reduce the effect of dangerous angled impacts. The Mips Evolve Pro safety system is a low-friction layer that slides multi-directionally upon angled impact with the intention of reducing the transmission of rotational force to the head. Like other Skullerz Safety Helmets, this Mips helmet provides heavy-duty yet lightweight and comfortable head protection to shield the front, back, top and sides of the head from falls, dropped objects or bumping into stationary objects. Compact helmet design increases all-over impact protection and improves visibility. Chin strap and pad ensure the helmet remains secure to the wearer's head upon impact or sudden movement. Lightweight, minimal EPS foam halo inside the shell provides all-around impact protection. Removable, COOLMAX hard hat sweatband and top pad are made from breathable, sweat-wicking, machine-washable materials for added comfort. Suspension ratchet pivots up and down to accommodate bandanas or ponytail knots, ensuring a more customizable, secure fit.
