The Squids 3176 Anchor Choke Strap threads through railings, scaffolding, equipment and structures to create a retrofit attachment point for tethering tools up to 40 lb/18kg, preventing dropped or falling objects from occurring on the job. Intended for heavy tools, this strap should only be affixed to the worksite (not for fall arrest). It features heavy-duty abrasion-resistant polyester webbing and a durable steel D-ring. Once the loop end of the tail is secured to the anchor point, the D-ring acts as a captive hole for tethering tool lanyards. It is built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause damage, injuries or possibly death.
